This invaluable support is made possible thanks to the dedication and service-oriented leadership of Mar\u00eda Elena Ben\u00edtez and her team, ensuring these students have a nurturing environment as they embark on their academic journeys.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The students are:<br>Jenifer Valery \u00c1vila Angulo (Barbacoas, Nari\u00f1o): From the rural area of the Guelmamb\u00ed River (Gertrudis village), recently graduated from the Normal Superior de Barbacoas.<br>Olver Starling Mina Valencia (Buenaventura, Valle del Cauca): From the rural zone of Buenaventura, a graduate of Esther Etelvina Aramburo School.<br>Dhan Esteban Ortiz Sol\u00eds (Tumaco, Nari\u00f1o): From the rural outskirts of Tumaco, a graduate of Instituto T\u00e9cnico Popular de la Costa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These achievements represent a triumph of collective efforts to promote social and academic mobility for Afro-descendant youth. John Tovar, through his advocacy and work with CEADA, has been instrumental in securing both educational and housing opportunities for these students, furthering the organization\u2019s mission to uplift Afro-descendant communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Hogar Estudiantil provides a supportive environment where students from all over Colombia can thrive academically and personally. Its resources and central location in Bogot\u00e1 enable students to focus on their studies while staying connected to a strong community network. This initiative aligns with CEADA\u2019s mission to empower these young scholars to build brighter futures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We extend our deepest gratitude to Mar\u00eda Elena Ben\u00edtez and the Fundaci\u00f3n Jaime Ben\u00edtez Tob\u00f3n team for their commitment to supporting these students, and to Universidad \u00daNICA for providing these life-changing educational opportunities.
